The U.S. Department of Commerce has extended the deadline for an administrative review of wood bedroom furniture from China.
Preliminary results of the review, which covers shipments of Chinese-made wood bedroom furniture for the 2009 calendar year, were originally due Oct. 4. DOC said it needed more time to analyze information pertaining to the Chinese manufacturers' sales practices, factors of production and corporate relationships, and to issue and review responses to supplemental questionnaires.
Jan. 31 is the new deadline for completing preliminary results of the review of 2009 shipments. The final results are due 120 days after the publication of the preliminary results.

Scott Thomas, Twinsburg, Ohio, moved from 200 Steele to 525 North Wrenn, known as the Tomlinson building.
Scott Hamed, president of Scott Thomas, said of the move that "our goal was to find better ways to reach customers."
Scott Hamed first met Rod Lambeth of Tomlinson/Erwin-Lambeth, Directional and Carter when they shared a corridor in Market Square, and the relationship was rekindled while looking for new showroom space.
