Furniture First’s board of directors gathered on Friday, April 1 to break ground on the new showroom that will be built at 336 South Main Street, High Point, N.C. The corner had been occupied by the Plaza Café since 1989.

Bedding manufacturer Spring Air International has expanded its licensing agreements with three existing partners, effectively dividing distribution in the State of Indiana among them. Michigan’s Grand Rapids Bedding will take responsibility for the northern third of the state, Bemco Mattress Company in Illinois will service the central portion of the state and Tennessee’s Johnson City Bedding will operate in the southern third.
