The New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID NJ) celebrated its annual Design Excellence Awards (DEA) at a gala on June 3 at the Maplewood Country Club in Maplewood, New Jersey. The event also supported The Warehouse NJ, a nonprofit that helps individuals and families create new beginnings by providing household items and furniture. Attendees were encouraged to donate via a QR code in the event program, with the first donors receiving floral centerpieces created by Jerry Rose Floral & Event Design.

Pottery Barn Kids, portfolio brand of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., the world’s largest digital-first, design-led and sustainable home retailer, announced a new collaboration with popular children’s clothing brand, Rylee + Cru. Founded in San Diego in 2014 by illustrator Kelli Murray Larson, Rylee + Cru is beloved for its charming clothing designs that feature artistic hand-illustrated prints and timeless earth-tone palette. The new Rylee + Cru for Pottery Barn Kids collaboration marks the brand’s first collection with Pottery Barn Kids. The clothing company partnered with Pottery Barn Kids to translate the brands signature artwork into designs for nursery, bedroom, playroom, and back-to-school spaces. Each piece in the collection brings Rylee + Cru’s aesthetic inspired by childhood wonder to life through layered textures, whimsical florals, woodland motifs, and intricate patterns designed to make children’s spaces feel warm and imaginative.
