Bedding Industries of America has announced its original company’s founder, Gerald Gershaw, has died at the age of 95. Gershaw was the founder of Therapedic International and its first plant in North Brunswick, N.J., which subsequently was transitioned to Stuart Carlitz in 2001.
J. Harper Beall III, CEO and former president of Fairfield Chair Company, passed away on Dec. 13 at the age of 77. Beall suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease the last seven years of his life and died at home surrounded by family.
