Conn’s HomePlus (NASDAQ: CONN) has partnered with the Bastion Community of Resilience – an intentional community for military veterans in New Orleans – to make a surprise donation of more than $22,000 in new furniture and three (3) 55" Samsung televisions to three deserving families. A fourth 65" Samsung television was raffled off to the community.

The Contemporary Design Group announced the winner of the 2019 Edward Haimsohn Design Award at their Annual Conference this week. Top prize went to Reflex S.p.a., for the Esse 72 Table designed by Tulcinski. Originally introduced at Salone del Mobile Milano in 2019, the Esse combines fluid and sculptural lines. The design features a unique “S” shaped glass base; the product name is Italian for the letter “S”.
