The Contemporary Design Group, a national association of independent home furnishings showrooms, specializing in modern and contemporary design, has announced the addition of its newest retailer member, Ambiente Modern Furniture. has been in business since 1996 and has two showrooms with 22,000 sq ft. of selling space.

Having served as the High Point Market Authority’s president and CEO for eleven years, Tom Conley plans to retire from the position at the end of 2022. Long- time employee and current COO, Tammy Covington Nagem will succeed Conley in the role by unanimous vote of the board of directors.

The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) has announced Hank Little, president of Atlanta Attachment Co. Inc., as its new board chair. Laurie Tokarz, president of Restonic Mattress Corp., will be the new vice chair and Ryan Trainer was reelected as ISPA president. Scott Tinsley, vp of sales for Serta Simmons Bedding, will become immediate past chair.
