Mattress and sleep accessories producer Bedgear has announced it is manufacturing KN95 respirators, surgical face masks and disposable scrubs and will be distributing tens of thousands of them in the coming weeks to New York hospitals, nursing homes and First Responders based on Long Island.

International Market Centers (IMC) has announced it will temporarily close its 17 High Point properties to the public beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27, keeping in line with the “stay at home” order by Guilford County, Greensboro and High Point officials. Mattress manufacturer Eclipse International will start producing an initial batch of 38,000 face masks from its New Jersey factory that will be donated to healthcare professionals to help them battle the COVID-19 pandemic. The three-layer masks are being made from two materials currently used to make the company’s mattresses.
