     “Every object is thought non only as a functional shape, but as an expression, a manner, and as such, it cannot (be) put aside from the belonging to its time. Our design’s method is a mix of styles, a cooperation between aesthetics and ways of use [...] An idea that, as a weave, unties it through the resolution of a function always mediated by forms able to characterize the object according to its times and places. A method that ties fashion, art and design as forms of the same time [...],” stated Lorenza Bozzoli.

     The New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)’s annual trade show, now titled designXPO, broke recent records for attendance (almost 240) and exhibitors (79), which encompassed the breadth of the design trade!  Held on Tuesday, September 30 at historic Bell Works, the XPO featured a CEU on “To Scale or Not to Scale” – a two-part panel discussion weighing the pro and cons of scaling a business rather than keeping it small.
