Norris Furniture & Interiors Wins Design Contract for Naples Model Home

Leading the Norris Design Team for this project are Philip Donaghy and Brittany Moss. The interior design for the home will evoke a unique, modern and transitional style. Donaghy says the inspiration for their design is “all about the water and the sun - from the shimmering of the sun when it reflects on the water to the colors and pattern of the sun’s rays fanning outward through the clouds.”

Mixed metals will be incorporated for a modern appeal and to showcase a starburst effect in the home. The color palette will display an organic touch of blues, coppers, golds and neutrals, while the wallpaper in the great room will give off the look of grass on the beach for a wispy effect. Rich fabrics with a hint of shimmer running through them will be used for the furniture and drapes.

Variations of lighting will be showcased in each room. The entry will include structural lighting that features a tumbleblock effect in acrylic - a design element that will be repeated throughout the home. A supernova in the form of a pendant light will be the focal point in the dining room, as the orb will bounce light off of the table adding drama and style. A sculptural chandelier will grace the great room with a mixture of metals, bronze and black for a modern touch.
