Ballard Designs Launches Flagship in Atlanta

Home Furnishings and décor retailer Ballard Designs will open its new flagship store in the Selig development in Atlanta, Ga., on Friday, July 10, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.

The National Retail Federation says retail industry employment in June increased by 50,200 jobs over the same period last year despite a seasonally adjusted drop from May of 25,800. Privately held American Furniture Warehouse expects to start construction in the fall on its store/warehouse in Katy, TX., according to a company spokesperson. The facility will be approximately 500,000 square feet and is expected to open in fall 2019.
