Flash Mob in High Point

By Home Furnishings Business in Markets on October 18, 2010 A crowd of High Point Market attendees were caught up in the middle of a flash mob in the courtyard in front of Showplace Sunday evening.

As unsuspecting buyers, sales reps and other marketgoers were hustling here and there after a full day, young dancers, one by one, stepped out and performed a dance to Michael Jackson's "Beat It." Then, just as quickly as they had started the 20 dancers, disappeared off into the crowd.

Weatherhead brings with her nearly 20 years of experience in sales, integrated marketing, public relations, advertising and communications management for retail, consumer product, and government and entertainment industries. Pepsi-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Pier 1 Imports, Borders Books, Kroger  and the U.S. Navy are among many regional and national account acquisitions she is credited with throughout her career.

She comes to B&B with an impressive track record of agency innovation and account diversification in her previous position as senior vice president of new business director at Campbell-Ewald Advertising.
