Foam mattress and pillow manufacturer Latex International has promoted Mike Tilki to vice president of domestic and international component sales.
He continues to report to the companys vice president of global sales, Jim Siragusa.
Tilki joined Latex International in 1999 as a product marketing manager. As the companys bedding business grew, he transitioned to the sales force, managing multiple East Coast mattress component accounts and developing comprehensive sales trainings sessions. He was promoted to director of sales in 2007 and given responsibility for all national account domestic customers. Most recently he was vice president of sales, North America.
We are pleased with the way Mike has successfully developed our domestic sales over the last several years, said Shelton, Conn.-based Latex International President and Chief Executive Officer David Fisher. Global interest in Talalay Latex is growing at a rapid pace. Putting our global and domestic component business under one umbrella made sense because it allows us to share insights gained from Europe and Asia with our domestic partners.
Tilki received his bachelors of science degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut in 1992. He resides Oxford, Conn., with his wife, Sonja, and daughters Allison and Avery.

Jacqui Griffith and Aubrecia Cooper have joined foam supplier FXI's consumer bedding division as senior director of marketing and product manager, respectively.
The two new consumer marketing appointments aim to help the division provide further support to its growing dealer network.
Griffith joined FXI, Media, Pa., after serving as senior marketing director of KNEX Brands, an international leader in construction toys, where she spearheaded marketing initiatives for prominent brands such as Nintendo. With more than 25 years of consumer product experience, Griffith is responsible for leading all marketing and branding initiatives for the companys consumer bedding division. She will develop and oversee marketing messages for all consumer communications as well as direct the product strategy and development process from conceptualization through fulfillment.

Case goods importer Najarian Furniture is expanding its showroom in the 220 Elm building for the October High Point Furniture Market.
Renovations are underway as Najarian adds a third floor and 7,000 square feet of space to its current two-level showroom in space 220, bringing the total square footage to 30,500. The company relocated from another 220 Elm building showroom in April to accommodate the launch of Najarian Kids, a new line of youth furnishings.
In its regular line, Najarian will introduce six bedrooms and seven dining rooms in a range of clean-lined transitional and contemporary styles during the fall trade show. Introductions include a boldly styled dining room with mirrored accents, complementing the well-received mirrored bedroom group that Najarian featured this spring.
The expansion of our showroom space enables us to offer a greater assortment of product, said Michael Lawrence, vice president of sales and marketing. In fact, this is the biggest product introduction weve ever had--were showing twice the amount of new goods than in previous markets.
The showroom expansion also helps accommodate a robust youth furnishings category launched in the spring, according to Lawrence: Well devote the first floor to Najarian Kids and use the other two levels to show new bedroom and dining room introductions, as well as many of our in-line best sellers.
During the October market, Najarian plans to add four new youth bedrooms, including a sports-themed group for boys licensed by Major League Baseball. The company also will feature the three licensed youth lines it launched in April--Hello Kitty, Paul Frank and Barbie.
Lawrence added that 220 Elm--with its strong base of transitional and contemporary wood and upholstery specialists--has proven to be the perfect spot for Najarian: Its a good fit for our line and it attracts the types of top retailers were trying to reach.
He said the fact that Najarians entrance faces the buildings courtyard is another big plus.
Najarian will hold a grand-opening party in its expanded showroom during the evening of Saturday, Oct. 13. The event will feature a Greek band, along with drinks and hors doeuvres.

The campaign on Pinterest debuted at the recent show with three product boards (Furniture, Accents, Gifts & Holiday); and featured new products in all home furnishings categories, price points and styles, and let buyers and interior designers weigh in on their favorite furniture, accessories and gifts.
First Look furniture followers favored the upbeat, vibrant patterns of lifestyle products designer Liora Manné, whose indoor/outdoor Gigi Chair earned top repins and likes. Shown in a painterly, antimicrobial and UV-resistant fabric called Floralies, the chair is available in any of Mannés Lamontage patterns, which can be seen year-round at World Market Centers Las Vegas Design Center, located in Building A, Suite 214.
First Look accents followers, fancied novelty lighting from Creative Co-Op this summer, and the companys Dolomite Owl Table Lamp earned the most accolades. Equal parts whimsy and elegance, the stately lamp perfectly blended the formal/casual balance desired by many homeowners today.
The romantic stylings of Midwest-CBKs Vintage Chic Collection won most repines from First Looks gift and holiday followers this summer. The broad line, which includes textiles, lighting, picture frames and glass accents, offers nostalgic elements of lace and ribbons and a reserved gray/taupe colorway peppered with muted purple and black accents.
Other best-of-show products spotted on Las Vegas Markets Summer 2012 Pinterest product boards include: a versatile ikat area rug from Suryas Frontier Collection; heavily textured Trellis vases from Lazy Susan; the elegant Du Barry chest of drawers from John Richards Florence de Dampierre Collection; Peninsula Homes Umbria table, complete with a scroll base and distressed tabletop; an adorable ceramic tabletop bird feeder from Napa Home & Garden; a contemporary centerpiece from Accent Decor called Beyond; Inspire wood signs from Collins Painting & Design and clever serving spoons from Shiraleah.
