The American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) has announced that SOFFA, the Safer Occupancy Furniture Flammability Act, has again been taken up by both houses of Congress. The AHFA-backed legislation would make California’s Technical Bulletin 117-2013 a federal flammability standard.
