Arhaus Furniture will be relocating its Ann Arbor, Mich., store to a higher-end location. The retailer expects the new store to open Sept. 20.
The retailer is moving the store about amile down the road and is looking for increased visibility in the new shopping center.

U.S. consumers, bracing for higher interest rates and slightly slower economic growth, were a bit less optimistic in August as sentiment retreated from last month's six-year high, a survey released on Friday showed.
The Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan's preliminary reading on the overall index on consumer sentiment slipped to 80.0 from 85.1 in July, the highest since July 2007.

The company stated that the nature of the closeout business and focus on the "treasure hunt" in stores was the reason for the change.
After announcing a net loss of $21.5 million for its second quarter ended December 31, 2012, Brady Churches, Tuesday Morning president and CEO, stated that the 850 brick and mortar store company should anticipate "a major revitalization across every facet of our operations."

Furniture supplier Flexsteel Inds. (NASDAQ: FLXS) reported net income of $13.2 million for the year ended June 30, compared to $13.1 million for the same period last year.
