Textile leader Sunbrella and Atlanta-based retailer Ballard Designs have launched the retailer’s first collection of performance fabrics for indoor upholstery.
Ballard Designs performance fabrics by Sunbrella are now available at BallardDesigns.com and include more than 100 fabrics, available for custom upholstery and fabric by the yard, with patterns and textures designed for interior spaces.
“Ballard Designs is known for European-inspired designs and furnishings that its customers can truly live in,” said Kimberly Peoples, specialty accounts manager at Sunbrella. “This collection of Sunbrella upholstery fabrics for indoors speaks perfectly to that need for a beautiful, livable home. Ballard Designs Performance Fabrics by Sunbrella will set the new standard for soft, luxurious fabrics inside the home.”
Ballard Designs and Sunbrella have a long-standing partnership, which started with Ballard Designs offering Sunbrella fabrics exclusively for outdoor living. Both companies say they have already seen evidence that customers are responding enthusiastically to the indoor-focused collection.
“We know our customer loves design; she wants to have a home that is not only beautiful, but one that can be truly lived in,” said Skye Westcott, senior vice president of merchandising at Ballard Designs. “The capabilities, quality and design of the performance fabrics from Sunbrella are unmatched in the marketplace and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this to our customer.”
