Ashley HomeStore Opens 800th Location

The store, operated by licensee Jose Berumen, is the 12^th Ashley HomeStore in Mexico, and the first operated by Berumen. The new licensee, however, plans to open a second location in Tijuana (Playas) in March.

The HomeStore’s interior architectural design includes a second-floor showcasing Ashley’s dream destination. The 9,000-square foot showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories.

The 800-store milestone comes less than a year after the 700^th HomeStore was opened.

During the past year, he said nine countries have seen their first Ashley HomeStore open, and said the store are now in 45 countries.
