Eastman House will mark its 150th anniversary at the upcoming High Point Market.
G. M Todd and H. Baily formed H. Baily & Co., the predecessor to Chittenden & Eastman, which later became Eastman House, in 1866.
The North Brunswick, N.J.-based company manufactures its products in the U.S.
To mark the anniversary, the company will introduce a collection of premium goods at a broader price range. Instead of $4,000 and up for a luxury mattress, the anniversary line will retail from $999. These lines will concentrate on hybrid beds made of specialty foams, high coil count inner springs, some models with encased coils, and extra premium imported fabric offering designer looks.
