By Home Furnishings Business in Las Vegas on April 20, 2011

World Market Center Las Vegas has expanded and relocated its Design & Living show section for the August 1-5 Summer 2011 Las Vegas Furniture Market.

The showcase, growing from its current location in Building B to the fully dedicated fourth floor of Building C, will feature a seamless integration of fashion-forward furnishings, including indoor and outdoor, home décor, home textiles and distinctive gift.

Change for Life Program Adds Stationery Industry

By Home Furnishings Business in Community/Charitable Support on April 20, 2011

Gift for Life, the gift and home decor industries' leading charitable organization, will expand its Change for Life fundraising initiative into stationery.

Change for Life raises charitable funds via a modest donation from manufacturers for each order received at a trade event.  During the Winter 2011 gift and home markets, more than $20,000 in contributions were raised through more than thirty participating companies.

Corporate partners in the stationery industry are being sought in order to maximize donations for 2011. Companies exhibiting at the National Stationery Show, May 15-18, are being asked to donate a minimum of $0.50 per order received at the show.

"We look forward to continuing the expansion of this efficient and important fundraising program that is so easy to manage and makes a big different," said Stu Teller, vice-chair of Gift for Life. "The stationery industry is filled with generous companies that will help expand Change for Life."
