The High Point City Council on Monday authorized up to $220,000 in cash incentives to assist a furniture manufacturer and logistics company with a possible expansion.
Representatives of OFS Brands are expected to decide in late November whether they will pick High Point for the project, which would involve the creation of 188 full-time jobs over five years and the addition of $9.25 million to the local tax base through expansions and upgrades of its facility at 1264 Jackson Lake Road.
