Upholstered furniture vendor Norwalk Furniture has opened a 3,300-square-foot permanent showroom in the Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center.
The new space, A225, which will be open for the upcoming Las Vegas Furniture Market and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. week days, projects an urban attitude and places a focus on the more than 850 fabrics and leathers that Norwalk offers as part of its highly customized upholstery.
Like High Point, our Las Vegas showroom will offer retailers fashion forward upholstery displays dressed in the most current fabric and color trends, said Reyna Moore, Norwalk Furniture vice president of marketing and merchandising. It presents a consumer presentation to both inspire our dealers as well as to appeal to the clients of interior designers who visit the space on a year-round basis.
The showroom is another step in Norwalks expansion on the West Coast, following the hiring of Carrie Norris as vice president of business development in the spring of 2011.
Our double digit growth since 2009 is due to the strong partnerships with independent retailers who want an affordable custom upholstery source made in America, which can deliver a wide range of options in fabrics, trims and wood finishes in a timely fashion, she said. This showroom is intentionally inspiring, colorful and touched with whimsy.

We have relatively few customers that attend both the Las Vegas Market and the High Point Market, said Mark Stephens, president of the Lenoir, N.C.-based company. Therefore, we feel its important that we continue to show in both markets so that we can maximize exposure to our entire customer base.
At the Winter Market, Broyhill will spotlight major introductions made at the October High Point Market. In addition, it will feature some exciting new elements to many of our collections that will be introduced in Las Vegas, Stephens added.

In addition, the company is remodeling its showroom, moving and painting walls and updating its entire product presentation for an airier feel.
