David Alioto has been named executive vice president of home delivery services for Zenith Global.
In his new position, Alioto is responsible for the company's home delivery operations in the United States and the new market expansion in China. Alioto reports to Jack Hawn, president and chief executive officer.
Home delivery is a natural extension of Zeniths comprehensive international supply chain capabilities, Hawn said. To maintain our high service standards and take our in-home delivery offering to the next level, we began a search for a results-driven logistics and operations leader to focus exclusively on this area of our business."

Carlo Moro has been named sales manager for the U.S. market for Selva Co.
The position, formerly held by Mike Herren, entails existing customer relationships and building new ones in the U.S. Prior to the new position, Moro was with the company's Premium Retail Division where he was focused business development in the Middle East. During his tenure, Moro set up the Selva Dubai branch, and played a key role in expanding the Philipp Selva Home brand.
"My and my father's vision (company founder Joseph Selva) is for the sun to rise as it is setting on a piece of handcrafted furniture from Selva (in essence that the company have a strong international presence)," said Phiiipp Selva, president and chief executive officer. "The U.S. market is an integral part of that vision."
Herren has taken a position with the company's contract division in Italy.
"Commendably, during a challenging economic time, Mike Herren, committed to a three-year tenure leading the U.S. market," Selva said. "During which, his commitment ensured Selva's growth and more greatly secured our U.S. position."

Hooker Furniture (NASDAQ-GS: HOFT), Martinsville, Va., has named Mike Delgatti to the new position of executive vice president of sales and marketing for Hooker Furniture Upholstery. Delgatti will oversee sales, marketing and merchandising for Cherryville, N.C.-based leather seating specialist Bradington-Young; and Bedford, Va.-based custom chair specialist Sam Moore.
Since January of last year, Delgatti has served as executive vice president of Merchandising at Bradington-Young.
"In just a little over a year, Mike's contributions at Bradington-Young have been exceptional," said Alan Cole, president and CEO of Hooker Furniture Upholstery. "He has extensive experience in the integration of sales, marketing and merchandising, and this is a strategic move to more fully realize the synergy between the two companies."
Under Delgatti's leadership, Sam Moore and Bradington-Young will focus on cross-merchandising initiatives, such as correlating leather sofas and sectionals with Sam Moore occasional seating. The companies will be better able to share strengths and best practices, such as improving fabric seating capabilities at Bradington-Young and leather capabilities at Sam Moore.
Delgatti continues to report to Cole. Reporting to Delgatti are Craig Young, senior vice president of sales at Bradington-Young; and Frank Richardson, vice president of sales at Sam Moore.
Prior to joining Hooker Furniture Upholstery, Delgatti was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Southern Furniture Company. Previously he served as president of Clayton Marcus, and as executive vice president of merchandising for occasional and upholstery product lines at Broyhill Furniture.

Kathy Ireland, chief executive officer and chief designer of Kathy Ireland Worldwide, will share experiences from her recent relief work in Haiti as part of her keynote message at the 16th Annual Furniture Fellowship Prayer Breakfast on Saturday morning, April 17.
Ireland's recent travels include visits to Israel and earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
"It is an honor and privilege to be of service whenever possible," she said. During the breakfast, Ireland will speak about her experience in both countries and the impact that faith has on all her endeavors. The breakfast will run from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Ballroom of the International Home Furnishings Center located on the eleventh floor of the Green Wing.
With $1.5 billion in annual revenues, design and marketing firm KIWW was recently named as the "Top Woman Owned Business in America" by DiversityBusiness.com. KIWW is currently involved with the Kathy Ireland Home collection from Vaughan Furniture and also designs and markets licensed products including flooring, rugs, lighting, decorative accessories, window coverings and apparel.
Leading in music and worship at the breakfast will be the Webb Family, comprised of Rick and Phyliss Webb and their children Parker, 23 and Hannah, 19. As inspirational gospel music singers, The Webb family regularly appears on the TV and radio broadcast, "Day of Discovery," has made guest appearances during the National Presidential Prayer Breakfast and the international "Wesleyan Hour" radio broadcast, as well as leading worship for numerous evangelistic events.
The $25 admission cost includes breakfast. In addition to covering expenses, these funds are directed towards charities such as Habitat for Humanity and High Point University scholarships. In addition, Ireland plans to donate her honorarium to the Alliance of Christian Education.
