DutchCrafters Opens Showroom for Handcrafted Amish Furniture in Alpharetta

DutchCrafters officially opened their new showroom and design center at 160 N. Main Street in Alpharetta on Friday, Oct. 14—exactly one year from closing on the property. That acquisition was followed by the renovation that turned a former fitness gym into a showcase for Amish furniture handcrafted in a variety of styles from traditional to contemporary.

JMX Brands, parent company of DutchCrafters, hosted the event with the Alpharetta and Greater North Fulton County chambers of commerce.

Guests included Amish woodworkers who traveled from Ohio and Indiana, neighboring realtors, designers, media representatives, Alpharetta staff, and individuals from local and regional communities.

The three-hour celebration offered an opportunity to take a first look at heirloom quality Amish furniture, speak with some of the Amish craftsmen who design and build the furniture, and consider taking advantage of grand opening sales.

Mingling was fueled by plenty of beverages and quality hors d’oeuvres, including sushi from next door neighbor Monkey 68, a charcuterie board with tasty bites from Yoder’s Meats and Cheeses in Shipshewana, Indiana, and a table of artfully designed cakes gifted by Nothing Bundt Cakes in nearby Milton.

Grand opening festivities continue at the store through Oct. 24.
