BrandJump Taps Jones-Jackson as Director of Merchandising and Operations

Los Angeles-based ecommerce sales and marketing company BrandJump has named Shelly Jones-Jackson as its director of merchandising and operations, reporting to CEO Josh Walter.  

Jones-Jackson will be responsible for managing the 20-plus merchandising and operations team charged with site merchandising, content optimization, pricing management and brand operations. The role will be focused on process development and technological enhancements with the goals of continuously improving speed, accuracy, and quality of content, resulting in an elevated brand presence online for each client.

In her previous role, Jones-Jackson was the senior director of merchandising operations at The RealReal, an authenticated luxury consignment fashion platform. In that position, she oversaw a team of 500 people across site operations including digital assets, copywriting, pricing and content. She was previously an assistant buyer for Barney’s New York and has additional fashion retail merchandising and sales management experience.

The creation of this new position follows the recent appointment of Melanie Nelson as director of channel management. In this role, Nelson leads the sales side of the business for BrandJump, and is responsible for driving top line business managed and building the channel management team. Together, these new additions add strength to the BrandJump executive team, comprehensively covering all aspects of the business.
