Product designer, author and style influencer, Shayla Copas and home décor manufacturer Chelsea House have signed a licensing agreement for 2020. The inaugural Shayla Copas for Chelsea House Collection will include accent furniture, accessories, mirrors and lighting based on Copas’ signature sophisticated yet fun design style. The introduction of the collaboration will occur during the Spring 2020 High Point Market with the full complement of designs on display in the Chelsea House showroom at 200 Hamilton Street.

Rug and accessories producer Surya has announced that its Boston Showroom located in the Boston Design Center is officially open for business. The Boston location will allow trade professionals to interact personally with a high-end selection of Surya accessories including vibrant rugs, lighting, wall decor and accent furniture.

Practicing in multiple genres from paintings to sculpture, local, regional and national artists are being sought by Allen and James and incorporated into design projects and show houses nationwide.

On their first showing at Boutique Design New York (BDNY), Raffel Systems, a producer of electronic components for motion upholstery and bedding, was named a Best of BDNY finalist for its Tranquilcharge Technology in the annual Product Design Competition.
