Gorman’s Home Furnishings & Interior Design of Farmington Hills today announced that its former CEO, Thomas “Tom” Walter Lias, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Winter Garden, Florida. A longtime resident of Troy, Michigan, and a more than 50-year furniture industry veteran, Tom was a dedicated leader and family man who left an indelible mark on his professional and personal communities. He was 77 years old.
