Three retailers joined the Furniture First buying group during the month of April. Key Home Furnishings in Lake Oswego, Oregon received approval just prior to last month’s High Point Market. Quarles Furniture in Bolivar, Missouri and Groen’s Fine Furniture in Dyer, Indiana were both approved in a board meeting last week.

After unexpected increases in January, new orders fell 5% in February from February 2018, according to a report by Smith Leonard accounting and consulting firm. This decline reduced year-to-date new orders to an increase of 1% over the first two months of last year.
