Impact Consulting, Furniture Training Co. Form Strategic Alliance
Impact Consulting Services and The Furniture Training Company (FTC) announce today a strategic alliance agreement whereby Impact Consulting will offer the full range of FTC online furniture and mattress sales training programs and services to industry retailers and manufacturers.
Impact Consulting is a consumer research company that provides information to both manufacturers and retailers of home furnishings in North America along with retail consulting, training and other performance enhancing services. FTC is the industry's largest provider of online training services in the form of furniture and mattress training modules, sales manager and sales associates training Webinars, and custom training development services.
"This strategy integrates with the other applications we offer on FurnitureCore.com, and will assist in measuring the performance of retailers and manufacturers," said Bob George, principal of Impact.
FTC has provided online training services for more than 13,000 associates at more than 750 furniture and mattress retailers. A survey of FTC clients found an increase of between 10 percent and 25 percent in sales from associates who participated in the training.
Impact Consulting will market FTC online sales training modules to its client companies and other retailers, work with FTC to expand its Webinar training programs, and introduce to industry manufacturers FTC’s custom development services for creating manufacturer specific online product and sales training.
