Vegas Market Promoting Social Media Use

Las Vegas Furniture Market wants attendees to take advantage of social media to preview product and stay abreast on events.

At the July 29-August 2 summer show, vendors and buyers can take to Facebook, Twitter (@WorldMarketCtr), Pinterest and Instagram (@worldmarketctr) to watch and post on introductions showroom happenings.
  
Las Vegas Market's First Look brand returns this summer on Pinterest with its Ready Your Repin rally for "Likes" and "Repins"Opens in a new window. Followers of First Look Summer 2013's Furniture, Accents and Tabletop & Gifts boards will receive timely updates about new product introductions each day of market. The product pin on each 2013 board that earns the most Likes and Repins will be announced shortly after the show. Winners from last season's First Look Ready your Repin will be presented in a special showcase at summer market in Building B.

Adding more social media influence to Market week, Las Vegas Market will host top design bloggers who will share with attendees their secrets to social media success and how their blogs kept them growing. Crystal Palecek  (Gentilello) of Rue MagazineOpens in a new window, Ashlina Kaposta  of The DecoristaOpens in a new window, Dallas Shaw of Dallas ShawOpens in a new window and Cassandra LaValle  of Coco+KelleyOpens in a new window will present "From Blogs to Businesses" on Monday, July 29 at 1 p.m. This panel of talented female bloggers will discuss how important social media is to today's business and brands, as well as how to grow your online presence.

To hear the latest trends from top designers and exhibitors or to join in on the conversation, attendees can connect to Las Vegas Market's social media family. Participants should tag all their tweets and Instagram photos with the official Las Vegas Market hashtag, #LVMkt.
