MadaLuxe Group Announces Acquisition of DUXIANA’s North American Distribution Business

MadaLuxe Group, the global luxury goods company, today announced its acquisition of DUXIANA's North American distribution business, including exclusive distribution rights. The transaction positions MadaLuxe to lead DUXIANA's 15-location U.S. showroom network and accelerate the brand's North American growth as the iconic Swedish luxury bed and furniture brand celebrates its 100th anniversary. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition strengthens MadaLuxe Group's growing luxury home and wellness portfolio and reflects its broader strategy of investing in established luxury brands with differentiated products, strong market positioning, and significant long-term growth potential.

"DUX is a brand with extraordinary heritage and a distinctive place in the luxury home market," said Adam Freede, CEO of MadaLuxe Group. "As luxury consumers increasingly prioritize health, wellness, and longevity, we see a compelling opportunity to build on DUX's legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. This acquisition reflects our commitment to investing in exceptional brands that align with the evolving lifestyles and expectations of the global luxury consumer."

Founded in Sweden in 1926, DUX is celebrating a century of craftsmanship, innovation, and Scandinavian design. The brand has built an international reputation for combining traditional Swedish manufacturing expertise with advanced sleep engineering. Its signature Pascal system features interchangeable components that allow owners to personalize and adjust the comfort and support of their beds over time, reflecting a philosophy of lasting quality and individualized sleep.

The acquisition comes as luxury consumers increasingly prioritize health, wellness, and longevity, recognizing restorative sleep as an essential component of overall well-being. This growing focus creates a compelling opportunity for DUXIANA, whose century-long commitment to personalized comfort and innovative sleep engineering aligns with the evolving expectations of today's luxury consumer.

"We see an extraordinary opportunity to unlock DUXIANA's potential across North America," said Bradley Belen, Managing Director of MLG Home at MadaLuxe Group. "Our ambition is to establish DUXIANA as a leading name in luxury sleep, building on its exceptional heritage while expanding our reach across retail, interior design, and hospitality. With a century of innovation behind us and significant opportunities ahead, I'm incredibly excited about what we can build together."

MadaLuxe plans to accelerate growth through new corporate showrooms, expanded wholesale, franchise, and licensing relationships, and deeper partnerships with interior designers, architects, and luxury hospitality operators. The company also intends to elevate the customer experience across its retail network through enhanced showroom environments, personalized sleep consultations, and expanded product education.

The acquisition further strengthens MLG Home, MadaLuxe Group's luxury home and lifestyle division, which also operates Hästens Texas. Together, the businesses expand MadaLuxe's presence in the ultra-premium sleep category, bringing two distinctive Swedish luxury brands to a broader audience.

"As the fourth generation of our family to lead DUX, I am especially proud to mark our centennial by opening this next chapter in North America," said Henrik Ljung, CEO of DUX. "For 100 years, our commitment has been to thoughtful design, innovation, and lasting comfort. MadaLuxe understands the importance of preserving that identity while investing in the relationships and experiences that will introduce DUX to new generations of customers. We look forward to building on our heritage together."
