Pooky Presents Lighting Introductions for the Fall

Pooky Lighting presents new and noteworthy introductions including this Fall’s standout pattern trend, a holiday gift that’s bringing warmth to bookshelves, the mirror trick designers swear by, and a major collaboration landing in November.

Marbling is fall’s “it” pattern - Hand-marbled shade collection

“Marbling is having a resurgence because we’re all craving craft, texture, and character in our homes - people want pieces that feel human and handmade rather than mass-produced,” says Pooky’s Creative Director, Jo Plant.

“At its core, marbling is pure movement. The swirl of fluid ink creates soft, undulating lines that are organic, so while the pattern can be vibrant and expressive, the lack of harsh edges makes it surprisingly gentle on the eye. Every single shade has its own individual character, which gives a lovely, painterly feel.”

“Fitting marbling into a modern interior is all about contrast and balance. In a clean, contemporary room, a marbled shade acts like a mini piece of artwork. Pair it with a simple, solid base, such as a sleek blown-glass bottle, a clean ceramic shape, or a simple brass stem to let the pattern take center stage without competing. It instantly injects warmth and a touch of joyful, understated maximalism into minimalist spaces.”

Pooky’s hand-marbled shades start at $55, and every single one is hand-marbled and unique. The range spans seven colorways, from near-geometric repeats to loose, abstract swirls in punchy pink, deep green and aquamarine.

Mirror, Mirror - Charming Mirror in Navy, Ava Mirror, Large Cinders Mirror in Ruby Red
As the evenings draw in, a well-placed mirror is the simplest way to stretch every bit of glow further. Hang one in a smaller space to bounce light around and give the room a loftier, airier feel. Or prop one behind a table lamp or a cluster of candles to double the light instantly, with no extra wiring.

The gift for every bookworm - The Bronte Collection

The Bronte cordless bookshelf light (starting at $160) is a proper little library light. It clips onto shelves, mantels and bookcases wherever a cord would get in the way. It comes in natural whitewash, bronze, silvery black, brass and turquoise, all with ribbed detailing, and it’s the gift for the reader, the collector or anyone with a bookcase worth showing off.

Coming in November: POOKY x SAMUEL & SONS
Pooky’s most luxurious collaboration to date is landing on November 3rd with the New York-based passementerie house Samuel & Sons. The 13 piece collaboration includes lampshades, flush mounts, and pendants crafted in luxurious linens and sensuous silks featuring a colorful palette spanning rich corals, emeralds, sky blues, and marshmallow pinks.
