Artefacto Debuts Cosmos Collection in U.S. Showroom

The third-generation company, known for their designs handcrafted in Brazil, has released the new collection in New York as homage to their family legacy: from patriarch Albino Bacchi to his son Paulo Bacchi, to current Co-CEOs Pietro and Bruno Bacchi.

Inspired by reflections of the past, which in turn guides the contemporary design of the future, Cosmos introduces elevated additions to the brand’s expanding universe. The collection was designed with Creative Director Patricia Anastassiadis as her eighth collaboration with the brand and developed with architects Felipe Anastassiadis and Ana Luiza de Deus.

While Cosmos looks decisively toward the future, its foundation is deeply rooted in Artefacto’s history. Throughout the collection, the brand revisits ideas, proportions and forms that have shaped its design language across generations, reinterpreting them through a more contemporary lens.

“My grandfather created Artefacto around craftsmanship and a very clear point of view," said Pietro Bacchi, third generation. "My father Paulo took those values and brought them to the U.S., building the brand in Miami and expanding what Artefacto could be, from furniture into a much broader relationship with design, real estate and the way people live. Now my responsibility is to protect that DNA while continuing to evolve it, and New York is an important part of that next chapter.”

Cosmos’ selection of materials reveals a natural complexity. Stone finishes, hammered glass, sandblasted textures, captivating cutouts, and amber, orange, and violet tones create a constellation of furnishing options that echoes stellar imagery and distant atmospheres.
