DOVR Media Teams Up with Shopify at HPMKT

Programming will include the interactive self-serve experience “Ask the Mirror.” Located in the Centers of High Point, Hamilton Lobby throughout the market, this experience will help retailers assess where they currently rank with consumers and determine if their store is being recommended by ChatGPT. The experience will also provide attendees with free AI visibility report cards.

On Sun., Oct. 18, DOVR Media will offer engaging programming at the HFA Resource Center (Plaza Suites 1-527, Booth 12). Attendees can stop by all day for free AI checkups. In addition, DOVR Media CEO Jake Freedman will host "The Future of Retail: Personalizing the Shopping Experience" session at 2:00 p.m. As shoppers are increasingly starting their furniture search journey on AI tools, like ChatGPT, the presentation will cover how these AI tools determine what stores are being recommended and the practical steps independent retailers can take to show up more often in the AI shopping experience and educate retailers on how to sell more product every day. The day will be rounded out with a DOVR Media and Shopify happy hour event from 3 – 5 pm in the HFA Café.

Freedman notes that raising visibility on AI platforms is the number one priority right now for retailers. “AI platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini have become huge drivers of traffic to retailers, many of whom are just not aware of where they rank or what to do to gain more visibility. There are a number of steps retailers can take to gain better position on these platforms and sell more furniture, but there is a race to gain visibility and no retailer will want to be left behind.”
