Karat Home is expanding its home-office assortment with a growing collection of electric adjustable standing lift-desks designed to bring modern workspace functionality into the home. Collection highlights include the new Baggio marble electric adjustable standing desk, the Baggio modern fluted electric adjustable standing desk and the Veritas 360-degree rotating electric adjustable desk.
As consumers continue to incorporate workspaces into bedrooms, living areas and other rooms throughout the home, Karat Home is positioning its lift-desks as furniture pieces that can be merchandised alongside traditional residential categories rather than confined to a dedicated home-office department. The collection combines electric height adjustment, integrated storage and power access with materials, finishes and design details intended to complement a range of home furnishings.
“Consumers want workspaces that fit naturally into their homes that go well beyond a room with a desk and chair,” said Milan Rousset, director of sales and marketing at Karat Home. “Our lift-desk collections offer retailers the same attention to design and functionality in the home office category that they would normally bring to living, dining and bedroom furniture.”
The collection is designed around features that support both productivity and everyday use, including smooth electric height adjustment, keypad controls with memory presets, integrated power access, cable management and concealed storage. These features also give retailers opportunities to build complete room vignettes around lift desks with office seating, lighting, rugs, storage and décor.
The Baggio marble electric adjustable standing desk pairs a marble top with an electric height-adjustable base for a more elevated approach to the home workspace. Each marble top features its own natural veining and variation, while dual grommets provide cable management and power access. A concealed drawer with divided compartments provides storage for office essentials.
The Baggio modern fluted electric adjustable standing desk brings furniture-forward detailing to the category with genuine wood, fluted accents and clean architectural lines. Three memory presets allow users to save preferred working heights, while a sedentary reminder encourages movement throughout the day. Under-desk drawers, integrated leg storage and cable management keep the workspace organized.
The Veritas 360-degree rotating electric adjustable desk offers a flexible workstation, with a rotating return that transitions from a traditional desk configuration to an L-shaped or extended workspace. Electric height adjustment includes three memory presets and operates at less than 50 decibels. Integrated drawers and an enclosed cabinet provide storage, while wood construction with metal support accommodates up to 200 pounds. The desk is available in acorn, oak and charcoal and includes a five-year electronics warranty.
Karat Home will showcase its expanded home-office collection at its showroom at 135 South Main Street, Suite 121, High Point.
