Hooker Upholstery Heads to HPMKT with Commitment to In-Stock Availability

Fall High Point Market is where new looks become retail opportunities, and Hooker Upholstery is arriving with plenty to put in front of buyers. The brand will unveil an extensive selection of new upholstery and fabrics that builds on its Collected Living approach, bringing together distinctive design, rich materials, and the kind of comfort consumers want to live with. But new product only creates opportunity when retailers can get it to the sales floor. That’s why Hooker Furnishings is putting equal emphasis on the other side of the equation: having product available to support the sale. The new introductions will be on display in the Hooker Furnishings showroom in Showplace, on the third floor, throughout Fall High Point Market, Oct. 17-21.

“Retailers are looking for product that gives them something new to show their customers, but just as importantly, they need confidence that the product can be there when the sale happens,” said Bobby Jones, vice president of upholstery at Hooker Furnishings. “That balance is at the heart of our approach to Hooker Upholstery. We’re bringing a strong mix of design, materials, scale, and comfort to market while continuing to build a supply model that gives our retail partners greater flexibility and access to inventory. It’s about creating upholstery that earns a place on the floor and supporting the retailer once it gets there.”

That commitment to availability is supported by Hooker’s expanded Vietnam Warehouse operation, which gives the company greater flexibility to position inventory, respond to U.S. demand, and move product more efficiently.

Among the standout pieces being highlighted as part of the broader assortment is the Gobi sofa collection featuring a two-over-two cushion design with a power recline function, power European headrests, and fully upholstered rounded arms that sit on small hidden feet to create a floating effect.

Wide-set channels extend from the inside back to the outer shell of the Barren swivel chair, enveloping a sleek T-front seat cushion. The fully upholstered swivel base adds extra drama to this stunner.

Jillian offers a fresh take on a manual press-back, high-leg recliner. It is upholstered in supple semi-aniline leather and designed for both style and personalized comfort. The chair is also available with power recline, power headrests, lumbar support, and swivel, giving retailers a versatile motion option with a more refined aesthetic.

Ivan brings tailored style and versatile comfort. Offered as a manual press-back high-leg recliner or a power recliner with swivel, power headrest, and lumbar support, it offers options to suit a range of seating preferences. The distinctive key-arm design tapers upward along the arm panel, creating a clean profile.

The Rosie Glider takes everyday relaxation a step further with power recline, adjustable headrest and lumbar support, plus a smooth auto-glide motion. A convenient remote puts heat and massage at the user’s fingertips, creating a comfortable retreat for quiet moments, reading, and everything in between. Rosie is upholstered in plush performance fabric with an exceptionally soft hand and comes in three versatile shades: Thornton Almond, Thornton Lotus, and Thornton Cream.

Retailers and interior designers who would like to view these and all the latest introductions are invited to visit the Hooker Furnishings Showroom in Showplace on the third floor during Fall Market.
