Lavin Rugs Welcomes Buyers to New Showroom at HPMKT

Lavin Rugs will welcome buyers to a new High Point Market showroom this October, relocating to IHFC C258, Commerce, 2nd Floor, where the rug brand will share a newly combined space with Cyan Design.

The connected showrooms are being fully remodeled to bring the two brands together under one roof, creating a destination where buyers and designers can explore Lavin rugs alongside Cyan Design’s home décor offerings. The Lavin showroom will be accessible from the Design Center side of the space.

The move comes as Lavin continues to expand its product assortment and presence in the home furnishings market. The larger showroom provides additional space to showcase both established collections and a substantial slate of Fall 2026 introductions.

“This move gives us an opportunity to better tell the Lavin story and create a showroom that reflects how much the brand has grown and where we’re headed,” said Michael Castell, director of sales. “We have significantly expanded our assortment, and having a larger space in a highly trafficked area of the IHFC allows us to show customers a much broader picture of what Lavin can offer.”

54 New Rugs Debut for Fall 2026

Lavin will introduce 54 new rugs at October Market, spanning 26 handmade and 28 machine-made designs. The launch encompasses six entirely new handmade collections and nine new power-loomed collections, as well as additions to two of the company’s best-selling handmade collections.

Across the introductions, Lavin is exploring a broader mix of color, texture and construction, with an emphasis on designs that feel distinctive while remaining approachable and easy to incorporate into today’s interiors. According to Castell, texture plays a particularly important role in the Fall assortment, bringing depth and dimension to both understated and more expressive designs. Warmer palettes, nuanced color variation and less uniform finishes also reflect a growing interest in rugs with character and a collected quality.

“We’re seeing customers gravitate toward rugs that don’t feel overly perfect,” said Castell. “There’s more interest in texture, warmer color, variation and designs that have personality. Even within machine-made rugs, there’s an opportunity to create more of that dimensional, collected feeling while still delivering the value and livability customers need.”

The Fall 2026 launch represents one of Lavin’s most significant introductions to date and reflects the continued evolution of the brand. By expanding both its handmade and machine-made offerings, Lavin is building an assortment designed to give retailers and designers greater choice across aesthetics, constructions and price points.

“For us, this Market is about more than introducing new product,” added Castell. “It’s an opportunity for customers to see the bigger picture—how our assortment is evolving, how the brand is growing and the momentum we’re building at Lavin.”
