Liberty Furniture Names Bryan Edwards as Senior VP of Sales

Liberty Furniture, a leading whole-home resource for value-driven, quality furniture, has named industry veteran Bryan Edwards as senior vice president of sales. With nearly four decades of sales leadership experience across both goods and upholstery, Edwards is well known throughout the industry for his ability to drive growth across multiple categories and channels of business.
“Bryan is a highly respected, well-rounded executive whose experience and leadership make him an excellent addition to Liberty as we continue to elevate our product offering and introduce a significant number of new collections across the whole home,” said Jonathan Cowles, president of Liberty Furniture. “In a challenging and rapidly changing environment, our retail partners are looking for vendors they can trust to deliver, and Bryan’s deep industry knowledge, strong relationships and understanding of the business will be invaluable. Prior to joining Liberty, Edwards spent the past seven years as vice president of sales for residential upholstery and export at Bernhardt Furniture. He also served as senior vice president of sales at A.R.T. Furniture for three years before being promoted to president of that company. Additionally, he served as vice president of sales at Aspenhome; senior vice president of sales and marketing at Mirador; and national vice president sales and vice president of marketing for Lea and American Drew. He was a regional sales manager for Flexsteel Industries and began his career in the furniture business at Broyhill Furniture.

Edwards received his degree from North Carolina State University and comes from a multi-generational furniture business family that includes his father, sister, son and niece. Based in Greensboro, North Carolina with his family, Edwards donates his time to several regional charitable organizations, including The Barnabas Furniture Bank, United Way of Caldwell County and Rumple Presbyterian Church.
