Karat Home will open its High Point showroom during Premarket for the first time this fall, giving retailers attending the event an additional opportunity to explore the company’s assortment ahead of Fall High Point Market.
Located at 135 South Main Street, Suite 121, the showroom will be open Sept. 15. Karat Home said participating in Premarket will allow buyers to spend more focused time with its team, experience its products firsthand and discuss opportunities for their businesses in a quieter setting.
“High Point Market is an important gathering point for our industry, but the pace of the main market can make it difficult to spend meaningful time together,” said Milan Rousset, director of sales and marketing at Karat Home. “Premarket gives retailers who are already in High Point an opportunity to stop by, explore the collection and have more substantive conversations without all the fanfare and scheduling pressure of the main market.”
Karat Home will place particular emphasis on its expanding home-office collection, including introductions from its lift-desk category. The collection combines advanced functionality with residential styling, allowing the products to be merchandised alongside living room, dining room and bedroom furniture rather than confined to a traditional home-office department.
“The most forward-thinking retailers I’ve spoken with are focused on increasing transaction value, giving customers more meaningful functionality and creating showroom experiences that cannot be replicated by simply viewing a product online,” Rousset said. “Our home-office collection addresses all three. These are design-forward pieces that complement the rest of the home, add functional value to the customer’s purchase and create an interactive moment on the showroom floor.”
Karat Home has spent more than five years developing the collection, refining its functionality and building the manufacturing expertise behind it. The resulting assortment gives retailers an opportunity to approach home office as a broader lifestyle category while responding to how consumers now use spaces throughout the home.
Premarket visitors will also be able to explore Karat Home’s broader furniture assortment and learn more about the company’s product-development, manufacturing and fulfillment capabilities. Z Gallerie, acquired by Karat Home in 2024, will preview select additions featuring the brand’s signature aesthetic.
“Premarket gives us the time to understand what each retailer needs and explore how our products and capabilities can support its assortment,” Rousset said. “We want retailers to leave with a clear sense of not only what Karat Home makes, but also what we can help them build.”
The Karat Home showroom is located at 135 South Main Street, Suite 121, in High Point. The company will open for Premarket Sept. 15 and return for Fall High Point Market Oct. 16 to 21.
