The second Frida Kahlo launch continues to explore Frida as both an artist and a person. Colorful florals mixed with muted scenes from the natural world give the new designs their own unique voice within the Tumble assortment.

Inspired by Frida Kahlo’s garden and the vivid flowers of México, this hand-painted design honors her love of nature and the inspiring places that shaped her art. Bold florals, ladybugs, dragonflies, bees, and butterflies bring her world to life in an expressive, vibrant way.

The Dahlia design was named after the national flower of México. The large, colorful blossoms with meandering vines pay tribute to Frida’s use of flowers as part of her iconic personal style. Her intricate braided hairstyles, adorned with blossoms and ribbons, were influenced by the indigenous dress of Tehuantepec women, and signified a deeply personal expression of Frida Kahlo’s identity and cultural pride.

The Carmen design pays tribute to Frida Kahlo’s full name, Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón. Inspired by her painting The Flower Basket, the Carmen design features stylized bouquets of dahlias, calla lilies, and marigolds surrounded by hummingbirds to reflect Frida’s lifelong fascination with the natural world.

The Viva design celebrates the jaguar, a powerful and sacred symbol in Mexican culture, brought to life with lush florals and tilework details. Inspired by Frida Kahlo’s love of the nature world as well as antique tapestry fabrics, the design seamlessly blends artistry and heritage.
