RW Collective Names Casey Bishop Manager of Manufacturing Facility

RW Collective, the vertically integrated wholesale furniture company behind RW Custom Classics, Atelier Home, Beyond Borders Imports, Jes & Gray Living, Threads Republic and Southern Sky Home, has named Casey Bishop plant manager of its Saltillo, Mississippi upholstery manufacturing facility. Bishop joined the company in June 2026 and now leads day-to-day operations at the 200,000-square-foot plant, which RW Collective acquired in 2025 and is actively rebuilding as the anchor of its domestic upholstery platform.

Bishop's appointment is part of a broader operational reset at Saltillo under RW Collective ownership. Since acquiring the former Bauhaus facility, the company has shifted roughly 45% of its upholstered furniture production from China to Mississippi, added merchandising leadership dedicated to the domestic upholstery division, and invested in equipment upgrades — including a new cutting-department installation that has already lifted efficiency. Casey's appointment adds senior manufacturing leadership to that trajectory. The Saltillo facility anchors RW Custom Classics, the company's made-to-order domestic upholstery brand.

An operational leader for a plant under new direction
Bishop brings more than two decades of large-scale manufacturing and distribution leadership to the role. He previously served as senior manager of distribution at Ashley Furniture and as production and inventory control manager at Williams-Sonoma, leading teams of more than 300 associates and managing complex, high-volume furniture operations. His background spans inventory management, supply-chain operations, process improvement, labor planning and team development.

At Saltillo, Bishop is focused on building a scalable operating structure that supports RW Collective's growth while raising the quality and customization the brand is committed to. His priorities include:

- Improving production flow, productivity and on-time completion

- Strengthening inventory accuracy, material availability and scheduling

- Developing clearer visibility into production constraints so problems are identified earlier

- Building stronger processes and accountability throughout the plant

- Investing in and developing the Saltillo team

- Tightening communication between manufacturing, product development, customer service and the rest of the organization

Together with RW Collective's leadership, Bishop is putting the systems, people and manufacturing discipline in place to make Saltillo a facility that dealers can plan around with confidence.

A domestic manufacturing platform, not a single facility
Bishop's appointment reflects a broader pattern of investment at Saltillo. RW Collective has added merchandising leadership dedicated to the domestic upholstery division, expanded product development capacity, and continues to build out the plant's operational infrastructure ahead of Fall High Point Market.

For a custom upholstery program in particular, domestic manufacturing gives the company more control over quality, customization, lead times and responsiveness to dealers and designers.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to lead the Saltillo team at an important point in RW Collective's growth. We have an opportunity to build something special here — an operation that combines American craftsmanship with strong manufacturing discipline, flexibility and exceptional quality. My focus is on developing our people, strengthening our processes and building a plant that can scale alongside RW while continuing to deliver the custom upholstery our dealers and customers expect."

RW Collective will be at Fall 2026 High Point Market October 17–21, where the team will preview new custom upholstery, discuss the Saltillo facility, and host retailer and design appointments throughout the week.
