HAY Introduces Autumn 2026 Lightening Collection

HAY’s Autumn 2026 lighting collection brings together new designs with updates to established collections. New additions include the Posto Table Lamp by Claire Lavabre, a compact lamp in cast aluminum with a graphic, industrial character, and the Canelé Table Lamp by Leclercq Viallet, which combines a colorful pleated textile shade with a refined stainless-steel base. The collection also introduces the Compass Floor Lamp by Julien Renault, new colours across the Apex Lamp collection by John Tree, and an updated Fifty-Fifty Floor Lamp and Desk Lamp by Sam Weller.
POSTO TABLE LAMP BY CLAIRE LAVABRE
Designed for HAY by the Copenhagen-based French designer and photographer, Posto is a small, robust and graphic table lamp crafted in cast aluminum. Consisting of three die-cast parts, simply assembled with screws and using standard electrical components, the design is defined by its straightforward construction and textured, industrial surface. Originally created as a gallery piece, Posto has been translated into a mass-produced object for HAY while retaining the spirit of the original. A groove in the aluminum upright holds the electrical cable subtly in place, contributing to the lamp’s clean, considered profile.

CANELÈ TABLE LAMP BY LECLERCQ VIALLET
In their first design for HAY, the French design duo have created an elegant table lamp defined by the interplay of folded steel and pleated textile. Named after the classic French pastry that shares a similar vertical fluted form, the pleated shade creates a soft, rounded silhouette that casts a warm glow with a colored hue. A three-legged steel frame supports the shade, setting a graphic structure against the fabric’s softness. Originally developed as handcrafted gallery objects with paper lampshades, the design has been translated into industrial production for HAY while remaining true to the character of the original pieces. Available in Warm White, Tomato Red, Almond Green and Soft Blue.

COMPASS FLOOR LAMP BY JULIEN RENAULT - LINE EXTENSION
A new addition to the French designer’s Compass collection, the Compass Floor Lamp extends the series’ distinctive conical silhouette from pendant to freestanding format. A curved, expandable arm suspends the shade overhead, creating an elegant arched silhouette that delivers pendant like illumination without the need for a ceiling fixture. The 360-degree rotating base and tiltable shade offer flexibility to direct light precisely where needed, adapting to both domestic and corporate settings.

APEX LAMP COLLECTION BY JOHN TREE - UPDATED COLOURS
The British designer’s Apex Lamp collection, inspired by the classic Banker’s Light with its distinctive peaked roofline silhouette in folded steel, continues to grow for Autumn 2026. The Desk Lamp, Desk Clip Lamp, Table Lamp and Floor Lamp are now also available in Maroon Red and Pastel Blue.
