HAY Introduces Accessories Collection by Doshi Levien

In their first accessories collection for HAY, London-based design duo Doshi Levien have designed the Dori collection, a textile range that brings subtle texture and colour to the bedroom and other living spaces.
Founded by Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien, Doshi Levien are also the designers behind HAY’s Quilton Sofa and are known for combining cultural richness with technical innovation. Together, the studio blends Doshi’s delicate visual sensibility with Levien’s industrial precision.
Named after the word for ‘thread’ in Hindi, Dori comprises a quilted bedspread, cushion, and removable cushion cover made from organic cotton. For Nipa Doshi, Dori also brings a personal perspective to the collection. Having grown up in Mumbai, she describes it as ‘bringing a different textile culture into the HAY universe, rooted in Indian traditions of cotton, embroidery, and everyday use.’
Available in three rich colours - midnight blue, maroon, and green - the design is defined by a distinctive two-tone construction that reflects the designers’ intuitive approach to both colour and textiles. It is also reversible, offering two expressions in one - ‘a simple, democratic idea that changes the identity of the piece through a simple gesture,’ says Doshi.
The vibrant contrast stitching on the fabric, a signature of the studio’s flair for colour, creates a sense of texture in the shape of a grid. ‘It’s not only decorative,’ says Doshi, ‘but also acts as a subtle guide, showing how to fold, place, and compose the bed. Even within industrial production, the piece carries a sense of craftsmanship - every detail reflects care, intelligence, and time.’ A small label adds a final expressive detail, marking every item in the collection with a subtle trace of Doshi’s hand.
Although conceived for the bed, Dori is designed to move freely around the home, from the bedroom to the sofa or wherever warmth and comfort are needed.
