HOM Furniture Hosts 37th Annual Open Golf Tournament

HOM Furniture hosted its 37th annual HOM Open Golf Tournament on July 15th, 2026, at Majestic Oaks Golf Course, Signature Course, in Ham Lake, Minnesota. The charity golf tournament sold out, bringing together 180 attendees and raised $300,000 to help support primary recipient Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (MNATC), along with several other charitable organizations HOM Furniture recognizes across the Upper Midwest.

The annual HOM Open charity golf tournament has grown from a small outing into a prominent event filled with fun entertainment and fueled by powerful community support. The event's success relies on a team effort, with HOM Furniture executives and employees dedicating months of planning for the anticipated day of fundraising and golf. They are joined by numerous industry partners whose sponsorships help maximize the tournament's overall community impact.

The tournament began with a performance by the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge choir, establishing a sense of community and purpose for the day. Participants also enjoyed meals, games, and prizes throughout the event.

"HOM Furniture is honored each and every year to be able to host the HOM Open Golf Tournament to raise support for Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge and other charities that our upper Midwestern locations are proud to represent. The annual HOM Furniture golf tournament is the yearly highlight of our work with MNATC," said Carl Nyberg, President and CEO of HOM Furniture. "Celebrating 37 years of our tournament is incredibly special. It's one of my favorite days of the year, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish the rest of the year."

The evening concluded with a dinner, an awards ceremony for the day’s winners, and a presentation on the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge mission. The organization offers faith-based recovery programs to help individuals overcome addiction. Additionally, two program participants shared personal testimonials about their journeys to sobriety. Their powerful stories highlighted the real-world impact of the community's support and the organization's life-changing work.
