KI & Pallas Textiles Announce Introductions Honored with 2026 METROPOLISLikes Awards

KI and Pallas Textiles announced that two of their product introductions have been honored with 2026 METROPOLISLikes awards, presented annually by METROPOLIS magazine to recognize innovative and sustainable products shaping the future of architecture and interior design.

KI received recognition for the Outspan Outdoor Collection, while Pallas Textiles was honored for its NetZERO Bio® platform, introduced as part of The Collective. The awards celebrate products that demonstrate exceptional design, responsible manufacturing, material innovation, and meaningful impact on the built environment.

“Receiving two METROPOLISLikes awards reflects our commitment to creating solutions that support designers while positively impacting the environments people use every day,” said Tony Besasie, chief sales and marketing officer at KI. “These recognitions reinforce the importance of balancing performance, aesthetics, and sustainability across everything we bring to market.”

Designed to extend the visual language of interior spaces outdoors, KI’s Outspan Outdoor Collection brings a refined architectural sensibility to exterior environments. Built with outdoor-grade steel and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the collection includes seating and tables designed to support dining, collaboration, learning, and informal gathering spaces while creating a cohesive connection between indoor and outdoor environments.

Pallas Textiles earned recognition for NetZERO Bio, part of The Collective, the company’s newest platform featuring both new Essentials and updated color palettes for best-selling legacy products within the Color Capsule No. 2 platform. Available in the ChambrayMatka, and Holy Cow patterns, NetZERO Bio combines GRS transaction-certified polyester with bio-attributed polyurethane built on Susterra®, an ingredient derived from regeneratively cultivated U.S. dent corn. The textiles also deliver high-performance durability, including bleach-cleanability and up to 500,000 double rubs, supporting demanding commercial environments without compromising design integrity.

“NetZERO Bio reflects where the future of commercial textiles is headed, toward materials that seamlessly balance beauty, performance, and environmental responsibility,” said Dean Lindsley, vice president of Pallas Textiles. “With The Collective and Color Capsule No. 2, we wanted to give designers more intentional, elevated options that not only inspire creativity but also support more thoughtful material choices for the spaces they create.”

The 2026 METROPOLISLikes award winners were selected from product introductions showcased during NeoCon and Design Days in Chicago and featured in METROPOLIS magazine’s Products Issue 2026.
