Meridian Furniture Plans Introductions for Summer Las Vegas

Meridian Furniture will enter the indoor/outdoor planters and lifestyle sculpture segment for the first time at the Summer Las Vegas Furniture Market with the introduction of seven new products at its  B-101 showroom.

A fast-growing brand known for its vast selection of high-style, affordably priced designs, Meridian has long been known for fashion-forward furniture with a European contemporary aesthetic. “Our goal now is for retailers, designers and stagers to look to us as a one-stop solution for any project, not only furnishing the space but accessorizing it with high quality details,” said Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture.

Expanding the indoor/outdoor category is key to realizing that goal, he said.

The company is introducing a series of six planters at Summer Market featuring concrete construction with textured pitting for natural depth and durability, whether displayed inside or out. Available in either clean, rounded barrel shapes or sculptural hourglass-shaped silhouettes, the art deco-inspired planters are finished in either a choice of cream or travertine and include drainage holes for functionality.

“Consumers now are focused on connecting their indoor spaces with nature with calm, earthy palettes, natural light and organic materials like wood and stone that effortlessly blur the lines between their living space and the environment,” Rosilio said. “With suggested retails ranging from $299 to $699, depending on size, these new planter designs offer an elevated way to showcase greenery with contemporary style.”

Also new for this Market is the life-sized Torix Sculpture, a bold art deco-inspired presence crafted using organic stacked forms and a cream concrete finish with textured pitting for added depth and character. For indoor and outdoor (covered in inclement weather) use, the abstract design of stacked, balanced stones creates a striking statement accent with contemporary sophistication.

“Our continued growth in the outdoor and home décor categories demonstrates our commitment to making it easy for our customer base to complete their design project using a single source,” said Mitch Hodges, Meridian Furniture vice president of sales. “Retailers and designers already turn to us for fashion-forward upholstery, marble occasional tables, bedroom and dining room tables. Now we’re continuing our push further into design-focused accessorization as well.”
