Artistic Tile Unveils New Tile & Mosaics at NeoCon in Chicago

To celebrate NeoCon 2026, Artistic Tile unveils new tile and mosaics on display at its Chicago Showroom on the first floor of the historic Merchandise Mart. Debut products include dimensional stone tile, a new collaboration with Ali Budd, and custom mosaics—all celebrating the organic beauty of natural stone.
Dimensional Stone Tiles for Biophilic Design
Four sculptural tiles usher in a new era of biophilic design. Ondulare combines a curved tile body and surface fluting—both featuring concave and convex undulations—creating a seamless wave on interior walls that reduces stress and promotes healing. Ravine simulates the process of water eroding stone, presenting organically shaped channels through a combination of hand-carving and machine cutting. Old City showcases the historic allure of Jerusalem stone in a creamy limestone with rugged surface variation and hand-chiseled lines. Cane reimagines traditional furniture weaving, rendering the iconic octagonal pattern in natural stone with an undulating surface and satiny finish.
“From the Curvature Effect, which inspired Ondulare, to the natural process of water eroding stone, which is the stimulus for Ravine, our new dimensional tiles explore the organic texture of natural stone—from raw rock faces to wavelike undulations,” notes Design Director Courtney Vagliardo. “These are dimensional products you need to see and touch. They feel soft even though they’re made of stone.”
Bespoke Patterns by Ali Budd Deliver Daring Design
A cutting-edge trio of custom patterns by Toronto-based interior designer and House of Ali host Ali Budd will also be on display: Liora, Sculpta, and Varo. Available exclusively through the Tailored To Custom Program, these waterjet mosaics can be personalized in any color, size, and material—in natural stone or curated glass—and come in modular units designed for nearly countless compositions. Liora, reminiscent of a fractured frozen lake, features curved edges that soften every line. Sculpta blends vertical lines and fluid forms, with optional dimensional carving in natural stone. Varo pieces together curved and linear shapes in six interlocking modules for maximum compositional variation.
Carved in Stone with Tailored To Custom Mosaics
Artistic Tile’s in-house production studio at its New Jersey headquarters lets architects and designers choose from hundreds of Tailored To patterns—specifying colors and materials—or invent their own waterjet-cut mosaic designs in natural stone or glass. For NeoCon, two patterns are installed in different natural stone varieties. Octavia Manor, an octagonal pattern with insets, looks fresh in white and mint green natural stones. Trellis feels luxurious in a neutral palette of Arabescato D’Oro Marble, Bianco Carrara, and Cappuccino Limestone.
