Scandinavian Spaces Prepares for NeoCon 2026

As NeoCon approaches, THE MART hums with anticipation as the city braces for design enthusiasts to join in celebrating Chicago Design Week. Scandinavian Spaces invites guests into a showroom experience unlike any before. An experience told through story, heart, and new workplace solutions for like-minded creatives.

For 2026, Scandinavian Spaces unveils a comic-inspired journey, illustrated by artist Jeremy Todd. Full of nostalgia and history, the story unfolds as two fictional protagonists, Lilith and Niles, experience NeoCon. As the digital space evolves and artificial intelligence rises, hand-drawn illustrations embrace the importance that Scandinavian Spaces places on authentic, original design. The brand is embracing the A&D community by celebrating Chicago Design Week and all its facets.

Their story begins just outside the iconic entrance to THE MART, where first decisions are made not by agenda, but by instinct— “Where to first?” “Scandinavian Spaces. I heard they have coffee.”

From that moment, the showroom becomes more than a destination. It becomes a narrative unfolding in real time.

Lilith and Niles flow through the rhythm of NeoCon. The press of the crowd, the shared excitement, the community that coined the tradeshow phrase “Summer camp for design nerds.” The familiar rituals. Badge check-ins, elevator queues, and the hum of conversation elevate the everyday into something cinematic. All inside THE MART. The two designers’ journey leads to Suite 366, where Scandinavian Spaces blends workplace solutions with something more human: warmth, pause, and connection. The Swedish way.

“Yes! Suite 366 for furniture & fika.”

Here, the showroom will reveal its true intention. Not simply to display products, but to create an atmosphere. A space that reflects the Scandinavian philosophy of COLOR. DESIGN. LIFE. Furniture is not staged; it is experienced. Spaces are not static; they invite interaction.

Lilith and Niles act as guides and mirrors, capturing the curiosity, spontaneity, and delight that define NeoCon itself.

Scandinavian Spaces invites attendees to discover the newest collection, like Lilith and Niles, in their flagship showroom. The collection launch represents a meaningful expansion across key product categories, including lounge seating (Villhem), occasional tables (Able), and bar and counter stools (Sander), each thoughtfully designed to support the evolving needs of the modern workspace. The ScandiCafé will also be running for the entire duration of the show and complimentary for NeoCon attendees. Gourmet drinks such as an americanos, espressos, cortados, lattes, or cappuccinos, with cinnamon buns, will all be available.

In a setting where thousands gather to discover what’s next, Scandinavian Spaces offers something rare: a moment to step into their story. An invitation to connect with design, space, and one another.

NeoCon 2026 | Suite 366 | June 7-10 | THE MART Where stories unfold, conversations linger, and design becomes something you experience.
