IKEA Announces Plan & Order Point with Pick-Up in Newnan, GA

IKEA U.S. announces that the IKEA Newnan Plan and order point with pick-up will open on April, 22, 2026. To celebrate the official opening, there will be a grand opening celebration at 11 a.m. with exclusive tours, giveaways, food sampling and more. IKEA Newnan is located in Ashely Park at 378 Newnan Crossing Bypass, Suite 378, Newnan, GA 30265.
"The Newnan location is just one of the many ways we are expanding our business. We are excited to open our doors and eagerly anticipate welcoming Newnan area residents to this new IKEA experience” said Brandon Lomax, IKEA Atlanta Market Manager.
The IKEA Newnan Plan and order point with pick-up is one of many new format stores that are part of the growth strategy for IKEA U.S.—increasing accessibility to the brand and ensuring there are more ways to meet customers where they are and how they like to shop. It is different from the traditional large-format IKEA stores as it gives customers the opportunity to meet with the IKEA store team to plan and order home furnishing solutions that require a bit more help – such as kitchens, bedroom closets, home entertainment solutions and bathrooms.
While customers are unable to take products home that day, IKEA co-workers can arrange for delivery or schedule orders to be picked up from the convenient, onsite pick-up location for free. With the addition of an IKEA Pick-up point, customers will be able to collect their purchases when and where it is convenient for them, supporting purchases made at the Plan and order point as well as online at IKEA.com/us. Online shoppers will have the option to pick up qualifying orders by selecting the IKEA Newnan as their preferred pick-up location at checkout.
