Promemoria Presents Blue Collection Featuring Prominent Collaborations

For Promemoria, 2026 marks the opening of a new chapter: the year of blue, the year of sky tones. A time shaped by fresh ideas, new visions and renewed creative energy. Ongoing research and daily dedication are infused with poetic lightness, giving rise to natural, tactile surfaces that express an increasingly thoughtful and conscious contemporary sensibility.

For this edition of the Milan Design Week 2026, Promemoria unveils new collections and previously unseen inspirations: expressions of a renewed present grounded in respect for the surrounding environment and in the culture of craftsmanship. Alongside these are selected pieces developed in collaboration with the Dutch studio of Marcel Wolterinck, an encounter that further enriches the dialogue between aesthetics and international sensibilities. The entire collection is animated by a genuine sense of joy, translated into forms, colors, and atmospheres designed to move and inspire.

Bottega Ghianda introduces a special collaboration with SO-LE STUDIO and the designer Maria Sole Ferragamo a leather lamp with futuristic lines, conceived to transform interiors into contemporary installations. Also making its debut is Atena, a seat defined by essential lines, bringing together Bottega Ghianda’s design rigor and Promemoria’s artisanal mastery of leatherwork. Finally, the Kiki lamp, first presented in 2022 as a table lamp, returns in a sophisticated reading lamp version: a tribute to the Eastern world, evoked through a Japanese paper lampshade embellished with hemp stitching.

Both companies share the vision and passion of Romeo Sozzi, founder and creative force: their work transcends furniture, transforming objects into true works of art.

In 2026, Promemoria is dressed in blue, from ethereal sky hues to the many shades of lake waters, creating a chromatic narrative that evokes calm and balance in everyday living. At the Milan Design Week 2026, each piece becomes an immersive experience suspended between dream and reality.

In Milan, design invites us to slow down, to contemplate, to savor the nuances of daily life.

Inspired by the principles of the English poet William Wordsworth, Promemoria celebrates emotion recollected in tranquility, the very source from which the new collection takes shape. The art of cabinetmaking, carried forward by Romeo Sozzi and his sons, meets innovation to create a language in which blue becomes a narrative material, capable of expressing timeless elegance and harmony.

At the heart of this story are the new creations of the Blu Collection 2026, distinguished by an intense and recognizable expressive language shaped by soft, flowing curves: the Adone dining table, majestic in its interplay of solids and voids, combining visual lightness, structural strength, and elegance; the Ovidio tables, available in both coffee and dining versions, fully upholstered in fabric and bringing a vibrant sense of joy to interiors; and the Partenope chair, an eccentric and precious presence, defined by a bronze backrest that reinterprets the dialogue between full and empty spaces, transforming it into a distinctive mark of strong personality.

Complementing these pieces is a capsule collection developed with the Dutch studio of Marcel Wolterinck, featuring the Laren sofas and coffee tables: a line that balances the studio’s essential language with Promemoria’s distinctive craftsmanship and refined materials.

At its showroom on Via dei Giardini 10 in Milan, Promemoria also presents a new interpretation of the Angelina kitchen. Unveiled during the Milan Design Week 2026, the project stems from a desire to establish a fluid relationship between interior and exterior, placing the kitchen in dialogue with a lush outdoor setting. Reflective surfaces, generous openings, and soft lines define this new language, softening boundaries and enhancing natural light and depth to create an airy, welcoming, contemporary space.

Within the same setting, an exceptionally elegant walk-in closet takes shape, conceived as a domestic sancta sanctorum, where intimacy and refinement merge in a harmony of precious materials, tailored details, and balanced compositions, transforming everyday routines into rituals of pure elegance.

The project unfolds through bespoke wardrobes, complemented by Afrodite, a vanity desk of delicate, feminine elegance, and a central island conceived as a functional focal point, designed to organize space and optimize daily use.

A harmonious whole that elevates everyday gestures into an experience of beauty and contemplation.
