Designhounds Announces Häcker Kitchens as Founding Brand Partner

Designhounds, an M2 Connect Company,  has announced Häcker Kitchens as a Founding Brand Partner of its newly launched Bootcamp series, a national program focused on hands-on product training for residential design professionals.

The partnership positions Häcker Kitchens as a long-term collaborator in shaping how product education is delivered to the design trade, with a focus on depth of knowledge, consistency across markets, and meaningful engagement with actively specifying designers.

As part of the Founding Brand Partner structure, Häcker Kitchens will participate in a series of Bootcamp events across key U.S. markets, beginning with New York City, followed by High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina and Pasadena, California. The company will lead dedicated training sessions within select markets, while maintaining an ongoing presence throughout the broader program.

Designhounds Bootcamps are structured around a multi-brand, 1-2 day format, bringing together three to five manufacturers for focused, hands-on training sessions. The program is designed to provide design professionals with practical product knowledge, covering construction, installation, and specification considerations rather than traditional marketing presentations.

“Bootcamps are about making time spent with brands more valuable,” said Veronika Miller, Founder of Designhounds. “Instead of surface-level presentations, we focus on how products work, how they’re made and how they’re installed so designers can leave with knowledge they can immediately apply in their design process and on the job site.”

The Founding Brand Partner model allows select manufacturers to engage with the Bootcamp series at a program level, rather than through isolated event participation. This includes early positioning within product categories, consistent visibility across markets, and the ability to build sustained relationships with a curated audience of design professionals.

For Häcker Kitchens, the partnership reflects a continued investment in the North American market and a commitment to education-driven engagement.

“Designers are looking for substance,” said Andreas Gommeringer, President of Häcker Kitchens North America. “They want to understand how products perform and how they can confidently specify them. The Bootcamp format aligns with that need and allows us to engage in a more direct and practical way.”

In addition to brand participation, the Bootcamp series is built on collaboration with local design professionals and Designhounds community members, who support regional outreach, promotion, and on-site execution through a revenue-sharing model.

M2 Connect DBA Designhounds maintains responsibility for national program structure, brand partnerships, logistics, and content consistency, creating a scalable platform that balances local expertise with a unified experience.

The Bootcamp series reflects a broader shift within the design industry toward performance-based education and more accountable partnerships between brands and designers.
