Meridian Furniture, a fast-growing brand known for its vast selection of high-style, affordably priced design-driven pieces, will debut more than 40 new skus in its occasional offerings at the Spring High Point Market. The introductions are part of a broader showroom presentation encompassing over 100 total new skus, in a wide range of scale options.
The new lineup is designed to provide retailers and designers with adaptable, ready-to-merchandise pieces that serve as the finishing touch for any living space, from compact urban apartments to expansive suburban homes. Meridian’s new occasional categories include a range of tables from end and side tables, coffee tables, indoor/outdoor end tables, and console tables.
“Our goal for these introductions is to offer ‘anchor’ pieces that define the personality of a room without losing the flexibility that modern life requires,” said Mitch Hodges, vice president of sales at Meridian Furniture. “From our sculptural concrete table to an elevated performance-fabric swivel chair, we are bringing furniture to the marketplace that makes spaces feel both high-end and highly livable.”
A major standout introduction is the Westbourne Console Table. Featuring a rich oak veneer finish, this piece showcases timeless elegance with a contemporary twist. Its artfully styled triple bases make it a versatile statement piece for entryways or living spaces.
Meridian is also expanding its seating category with pieces that prioritize both luxury and longevity. The Ferro Linen Textured Performance Fabric Counter Stool has a sophisticated tone supported by brushed brass forged iron legs. While the Elara Velvet Upholstered Swivel Chair features ultra-luxe velvet, accompanied by a solid wood frame in a rich brown walnut finish with brushed brass accents.
For transitional spaces, the Delphine Vegan Leather Upholstered Bench combines modern elegance with skilled craftsmanship. Upholstered in soft vegan leather with a natural finish oak veneer base, the bench’s unique curves offer a polished look that can be mixed and matched with Meridian’s new case goods collections.
In the outdoor occasional category, sculptural elegance takes center stage with the Caserta Travertine Finish Concrete End Table. Utilizing a sophisticated water-transfer process to mimic the organic texture of natural travertine, the table features fluid curves and intricate detailing that offers an “Art Deco” edge to the assortment. The Caserta can transition from a curated living room to a contemporary patio, displaying Meridian’s versatile, indoor-outdoor lifestyle pieces, an area that continues to expand for Meridian. “The trend of versatile living continues to grow, and many of our designs in this category have a sophisticated edge that is perfect on retail floors and in designer showrooms,” added Hodges.
With distinct shapes and “on-trend” finishes, Meridian’s occasional introductions at the Spring High Point Market provide retailers and designers with a wide range of products tailored for today’s fashion-forward consumers. From the textural appeal of cream boucle to the architectural weight of concrete, these new occasional categories provide the necessary visual depth to stand out in a competitive retail landscape.
